Operations Engineer

By joining our Agile software development team, you will be a part of a group building a collaborative platform for Agile software teams of all sizes. Responsibilities include:

• Administrating, monitoring, and maintaining Rally's on-demand test and production systems
• Selecting, configuring, and maintaining state-of-the-art computer hardware that runs our on-demand systems
• Performing Rally production system upgrades and patches in a clustered environment
• Assisting with production system security policies and audits
• Performing scalability tests on different hardware and software configurations
• Performance tuning the production hardware
• Maintaining, configuring, and testing our disaster recovery site
• Ability to configure networking technologies including but not limited to: Firewalls, Routers, Switches
• On call availability to service a highly redundant and reliable production system

Your skills should include:

• Minimum of 3 years of operations experience
• Operations experience with RedHat or Centos. Experience with J2EE (JBoss) and Oracle 10g a plus
• Good technical problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Good Unix/Linux scripting skills
