BOULDER, Colo., June 18, 2007 - Rally Software Development Corp., the leading provider of Agile software life cycle management solutions, today announced that its CEO, Tim Miller, is a finalist for the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Awards in the Rocky Mountain region.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards program was designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national and global level who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. Awards are given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
Miller is a serial entrepreneur with over 15 years experience in managing, building and growing software companies from startup to Fortune 1000. Before co-founding Rally, he started Avitek, a custom software development firm that grew to over $10M in revenues before being acquired by BEA Systems in 1999. Miller is actively involved in the community as a member of Social Venture Partners and is a member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Young Presidents' Organization.
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 21, 2007 at the Seawell Ballroom in The Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
