Jean Tabaka
Jean has an extensive background as an Agile methodologist for internal IT departments, ISVs and consulting organizations. She has implemented both rigorous and Agile methodologies for Qwest Communications, Siebel Systems, Sybase Inc. and numerous smaller firms. She is currently Rally's lead Customer Advisor where she guides client adoption of Agile principles and practices. Jean is a Certified ScrumMaster; a Certified Professional Facilitator; a member of the Project Management Institute, and co-author of a book on physical database design.
Ryan Martens
Ryan is an expert in assisting organizations transition from traditional development processes to more Agile techniques. Before founding Rally Software Development, Ryan directed adoption of Internet technologies within Qwest Communications. He then co-founded Avitek, a custom Java software development firm acquired by BEA Systems in 1999. At BEA, Ryan served as Director of Product Management for the eCommerce applications division.
Michele Sliger
Michele Sliger has extensive experience in Agile methodologies, having served as an Agile coach at Qwest Communications. She also was a founding member of the engineering teams at biotech start-ups UroCor and Genomica. At Genomica, Michele honed her Scrum and XP skills while working under Mike Cohn, a recognized founder of the Agile movement. She carried that experience forward into Qwest, where she served as an XP Coach on a team tasked with developing high-profile financial applications. She has an undergraduate degree in MIS and an MBA. She is a registered Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and an active member of the board of the Agile Denver chapter.
